What are the different types of lifestyles considering animals?
Alot of people in this world have chosen or been made to give up meat for many different reasons.
Vegan
There are two different versions of vegan. There is vegan which means no meat, dairy, eggs, and the basic means of eating no animal products. There is also strict vegan which is rarely practiced. It means no animal products at all, including: wool, honey, leather, animal based gelatin, etc.
Vegetarian
Vegetarian means no meat. That includes beef, pork, fish, chicken, etc. Vegetarians still eat dairy, eggs, and other animal products.
Lacto-ovo Vegetarian
Eats no meat. Only animal products consumed are dairy and eggs. Lacto meaning dairy and ovo meaning eggs.
Lacto-Vegetarian
The only animal product consumed is dairy.
Ovo-Vegetarian
The only animal product consumed is eggs.
Speciesism- the immoral belief that only human beings really matter (ex. Sexism and racism)
